Weekend Checklist
Get there early! The faster we register and tech, the more track time you have.Things for you to check over on your car:
- Tires- Look at being in good condition
- Brakes- need fresh pair or something with good last ability, (rotors and pads); second set is a good suggestion
- Seatbelts- working, minimum 3pt. (Shoulder and Lap)
- Fluid Levels- full and not leaking,
- Battery Security and Terminals taped- Tight with brackets and covers/tape over terminals
- No Rattles
- No Loose articles in the car when you are on the track
- No cracked windows
Dress appropriately for any type of weather! Springtime/Falltime in Wisconsin is unpredictable.
Some recommended clothing items to bring along:
- Sweatshirt
- Jacket
- Rain Poncho
- Light Gloves
- Sun Block
- Extra Dry Socks
Misc for car:
- Helmet Must have Snell Approved Sticker on helmet - Minimum Snell 2000 Rating
- Tire pressure gauge
- Misc. tools
- GAS (there is gas at the track, that only takes credit cards), there is also a gas station down the street. -- Check out local info at Road America.
- Some tools will be there, but don't count on what you need others will have. Plan on bringing your own.
Extra things to remember to bring:
- Drivers License - required for registration verification of all drivers
- Confirmation Letter - Bring "Confirmation Letter" to front gate for one free driver admission
- Parents with children - remember to bring earplugs for their safety.
- Insurance Cards - Health Insurance and Car Insurance (Just for your safety - we will not ask for it unless something happens)
Drivers are permitted to allow one passenger in the front seat only.
Passengers must be at least 16 years of age, and must wear an approved helmet.
Bring your camera and/or camcorder! This is always a great photo opportunity!
Bring cash for concession stands if you would like food at the track.
Bring your friends, family & co-workers! Take them for a few laps around America's most scenic road course.
